Ok, so apparently I have a little internet crush on The Sartorialist, a fantastic blog that catches images of stylish and interesting women and men across the globe. The blog dates back to 2005, which means many more years of style inspiring experience than most style bloggers on the net today. My faves to date:
2010 ( I really love this girl’s whole outfit…shoes, belt, smile, colors…)
The blog writer’s grandmother in 1956!
I know, I know. We still have a looong way to go before we even want to say the word “layer”, but today as I sit here with a massive sunburn and looking like a shiny tomato I can’t help but wish it was a little cooler outside and it was time for hats and stockings and all things fuzzy. Hey, this is what being a New Englander is about…looking ahead to the next season, right? That’s why when I saw this little behind the scenes video from the J. Crew Fall Fashion Look Book shoot I got a little giddy. I’m personally not a J. Crew shopper, but I have been really enjoying their catalogs lately for the styling ideas. Check this out:
And just a few Fall Fashion Wishes of my own:
…this emerald green color
…vintage clip on bow ties for my hair or to add to necklaces or belts
